Pengo (PSD) Series augers feature heat treated cast alloy steel boring heads with hardened forged steel side blades and a bolt-on cast alloy steel center pilot bit. The Pengo Series augers are general purpose augers and are the best choice for tough soil conditions. All augers are approximately 38" in length, and we offer extension shafts in 1, 2, and 3 foot lengths. A variety of different style carbide-tipped side blades are available for Pengo and Combo augers, as well as full carbide and carbide-tipped center pilots for Pengo Series augers allowing you to custom tailor your auger to your specific needs and soil conditions.

1 Man 4 Cycle With Bits & Stand

The Ground Hog ModelONE is a small, hand-held, one-man auger that is designed from the ground up for Commercial and Rental use and also for a great end-user experience.

The handlebar is comfortable and the controls are easy to use.

The full wrap-around handlebar has a thick and durable cushioned grip surface that gives comfort and control to the operator. There is a trigger-type, spring-return throttle that allows for precise control and a kill switch is located conveniently above the throttle. 

The ModelONE is rugged and reliable and is powered by a Honda® GX35 4-Stroke engine. 

The engine speed and torque, the transmission gear ratio, as well as the angle of the auger blades and the pitch of the flites, work together to provide maximum digging power while minimizing strain on the operator. With the ModelONE, you get plenty of power and control with less fatigue.

The ModelONE has a 1-inch round auger drive and will handle up to an 8" auger bit.

1 Man Hydraulic Towable Earth Drill

The Ground Hog HD99 is a Towable Hydraulic Earthdrill that is designed to be powerful, easy to use and require very little maintenance.

The HD99 is the most powerful earthdrill in the Ground Hog line. With it's 9hp Honda engine, the HD99 can easily dig with any Ground Hog auger up to 18 inches in diameter.

Designed to take the load off of the operator by being almost perfectly balanced with an 8-inch auger attached. There are also 3 handlebar positions that allow for normal drilling, as well as close up drilling next to an obstacle such as a wall or fence. The drilling head also pivots from side to side for drilling on uneven terrain. Large highway rated tires make the HD99 easy to maneuver around the job site and there is a locking mechanism on the digging head that allows the auger to be held up and out of the way for moving the machine around the job without having to disconnect the auger.

Earth Drill, 2-Man, 5.5hp Honda Engine

The Ground Hog C-71-5 is two-man earth drill designed to deliver years of reliable service with superior performance. It has been a proven performer for over 40 years. It’s rugged design promotes durability and requires very little maintenance.

The heart of this unit is our time-tested transmission. The transmission is an efficient worm drive design utilizing alloy steel shafts, large tapered roller bearings and our standard 7/8" square auger drive.

Aluminum castings are used throughout the C-71-5's construction to produce a unit that is both strong and lightweight. The C-71-5 uses an air cooled centrifugal clutch and a trigger-type, return-style throttle. Both operator positions are equipped with individual stop switches and tubular steel handlebars.
